Welcome to Steeky Meadow, a Community Interest Company located in a managed woodland in Devon’s Tamar Valley. We aim to benefit people and the planet by working closely with the land, allowing nature to grow and flourish and teaching skills and crafts to pass down to future generations.

Nature Regeneration
Steeky Meadow has a rich variety of habitats, from the sunny ex-pasture, through the old broadleaf woodland down to the willow and alder river valley. We are working to restore and grow these natural areas through sustainable pratices and long-term management.
Craft Classes
We teach traditional crafts and skills using hand tools and natural materials. At Steeky Meadow, we believe that creating something useful and beautiful by hand is one of the best ways to get in touch with the natural world around us and can be hugely beneficial to our physical and mental wellbeing.
Community Groups
Community involvement is at the heart of what we do at Steeky Meadow. We believe in providing opportunities for everybody to access nature and work together. We work closely with the local community and youth groups, running activities to inspire a love of the natural world and appreciation for traditional countryside skills.
Children’s Parties
We provide a space for an exciting day out for children. With many activites available, from our educational nature trail, bushcraft, foraging and outdoor cooking, to taster sessions with traditional hand tools.
