At Steeky Meadow, learning feels like an adventure! Our outdoor sessions are designed especially for home-educated children and their families, giving everyone a chance to explore, create, and discover in the great outdoors. From following nature trails and spotting wildlife to cooking over an open fire, building birdboxes, trying bushcraft, sampling the stream, and tracking animals, each session is packed with hands-on fun that helps children grow in confidence and curiosity.
Spending time in nature isn’t just exciting — it’s proven to boost creativity, reduce stress, and build independence. With small group sizes and plenty of opportunities to try new skills and learn about the environment, our woodland becomes the perfect classroom. Children can make memories, learn together, and flourish outdoors!
Key Information:
- Recommended for ages 8–14
- Maximum of 9 children per session
- Sessions run 11:45 – 15:15 (please bring a packed lunch)
- 1 accompanying adult required for every 3 children

- £16 per session, per child
- Full course discount: 6 sessions for the price of 5 (£80 total)
